Andy WarholPop Art Prints
This lesson is a class favorite!!! The students love making them and the results are amazing!!! It is inspired by artist Andy Warhol and how much he loved pop culture. Each student is asked to think of a brand name (food, clothing, places, shows, etc...) that everyone would recognize. After they choose, they draw it BACKWARDS on a piece of Styrofoam sheet. Next they use a brayer and ink and repeat the image on a piece of construction paper.
